Fried cream

Beat 5 egg yolks with the sugar, then the flour, milk and lemon zest, pinch of vanilla and about 2-3 tablespoons marsala simmered. Bring the mixture to the boil stirring continuously, and when bubbles remove from heat.
Pour the mixture on a flat baking sheet 1 (about 4 cm thick) and cool, then cut into squares. Take a piece at a time, pass in the beaten egg and breadcrumbs. FRY in a pan with plenty of oil and a knob of butter. Do not Brown and once drained, sprinkle with icing sugar. Eat warm!
